Final Sandwich
Delivering tasty treats in the form of writings and comics. Enjoy, now!
Jin Hee K.im
She's Korean, so that pretty much guarantees that she's smart, humorous, and cute... mmmmm...
Art of Tom Pollock Jr.
His site might not actually cure AIDS but it might make you ballsy enough to get them and see if it does.
Chris Stein's Artwork
Definitely a good guy to have during an intense brainstorming session. Filled to the brim with mythology, creativity, and a vocabulary. Thats right, vocabulary.
Matt Laskodi
Matt Laskodi is a lot more humorous than you could ever imagine to be... ever... So just deal with it, I know I have.

2009-04-09: Geeks, Nerds, Dorks.

This post is more of a place holder for another post to come. Here's a little preview:

#!/usr/bin/perl
$geeks = 1;
foreach(0..Inf) {
   $geeks++;
   $nerds = $geeks+1; # nerds > geeks ;)
}

So pretty much, Geeks aren't zeros and they only become better as time goes on infinitely. However Nerds are always 1 step ahead, thus Nerds > Geeks.

Completely unnecessary php dealing with Geeks and Nerds.

2009-04-06: Buttersafe Expo 2009!

Buttersafe Expo is coming and it's coming fast. Not being able to make it to California I took it upon myself to start the NJBSX. There will be pizza, chairs, tables, and happiness. Not to mention t-shirts for the first 10 people and Roller Derby later that night.

Details for NJBSX 2009:

April 25th, 2009
4:00pm to 6:00pm
Pete & Elda's in Neptune, NJ (Google Map)

Afterwards in Asbury Park there is Roller Derby (all girls!) at Asbury Hall. Starts at 8:00pm, more details: Jersey Shore Roller Girls. Awesome!

All details here: NJBSX 2009 Forum.

Lastly on that topic, don't know what Buttersafe is? Let me introduce you then!

Those are just a small sample of their sweetness. Plenty more awesomeness can be found at their site, so definitely check out Buttersafe!

Other news, bought this sweet shirt the other day, very enjoyable to wear:
Taco Violence T-Shirt
Love the t-shirts by Loungefly. Will share other shirts with everyone as well.

2009-03-24: Aftermath.

Well, my Saint Patrick's Month was pretty bananas. Flogging Molly ended up being sold out so missed that, while Erin Go Brawl was cancelled.

However Pogues and Wolfe Tones were intense, not to mention Celtic FC winning the Co-Op Cup against Rangers 2-0 in extra time. Saw that with the Woodside CSC, great group of people at Saints And Sinners to enjoy the match with.

The Irish lads did it for Celtic too, O'Dea and McGeady both scoring the winners. Lost my voice that weekend from singing during both concerts and then the game.

The day itself was spent all about NYC, and was quite an adventure, that night was spent on the top floor of Millenium Hilton. Thats right, real big pimping, 2 bedroom and 2.5 bath, overlooking Ground Zero and a view of the Statue of Liberty. Very swank.

Now its time for some sweet-ass videos (or a la xkcd, sweet ass-videos). First up, Bernard Dunne is the new Bantamweight champion coming out of Ireland:

Fight of the Year candidate. Fireworks start about 2:40 in.

Second we have the dominating '09 Irish Rugby team. First Grand Slam victory in 61 years. What a month this has been for Irish and pro-Irish sports. Little montage action:

Congrats Bhoys, well deserved!

2009-03-04: Awesome, Saint Patrick's Month And Incredibad!

For those of you out there that aren't cool, Saint Patrick's Month started last Sunday!

Personally it started with a bang as my boy Jerry and I celebrated the kick off in Belmar. However that was just the start, now is about to go completely bonkers.

Here's my up coming agenda:

13th:Flogging Molly in AC
14th:Pogues in NYC
15th:Wolfe Tones in NYC
16th:Erin Go Brawl at MSG
17th:The Glorious Day in NYC

Did I mention Conor "F-ing" Mullanaphy will also be on leave during all that madness? Oh I didn't, well now I did mother fucker! Its going to be intense as all the women and half the men in Jersey will be pregnant after his arrival.

Side note, don't know how this passed under my radar, Incredibad. It's dope as hell yo. Heres two of the songs from it (T-Pain nails his part so well):

And this one just put a smile on my face:

Some of the other songs on it are simply amazing. 'Boombox' and 'Like A Boss' in particular, so check out more at: http://www.incredibad.com/.

2008-11-24: I've seen the musical light, mmmmm.

From now on all my music will be 8-bit. Thats right chiptunes are my new interest, if I played an instrument it would be a Gameboy. Think how good video game music was, now think of a new subculture out there utilizing the same technologies to create awesome awesomeness. Sounds pretty awesome to me.

So far Random takes the cake for my favorite creator yet there are many other great ones. Nullsleep speaks for himself in that regard as well as Bit Shifter and Anamanaguchi.

Its some pretty amazing stuff and December 4th to the 7th there is the Blip Festival 2008 brought to you by 8BITPEOPLES.

Here's some examples from said musicians:

Random - Give Me Your Day

Anamanaguchi - Helix Nebula

Bit Shifter - Reformat the Planet

Random - Sitges Savepoint

Best part is most of the works are available at 8bitcollective to listen and enjoy. Check it out, might find a nerdy part of yourself you never knew existed.
